Upcar is a peer-to-peer car company building three product lines on one platform — Upcar Rental (live, Turo competitor), Upcar Buy/Sell (P2P used-car marketplace), and Upcar Private (B2B SaaS for host-operators). We move fast, ship relentlessly, and obsess over driver and host experience.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Product Lead to anchor our Hyderabad office and own the Upcar product end-to-end. You'll partner directly with the founder, drive the product roadmap, lead our India team, and ship features that move real metrics. This is a senior role for someone who wants ownership, speed, and outsized impact at an early-stage startup.

What You'll Do

Own the Upcar product roadmap end-to-end — discovery, specs, prioritization, launch, iteration
Lead the India team across engineering, design, and QA — set the bar on quality and velocity
Translate founder vision and customer signal into shippable product bets
Run weekly sprint planning, standups, and reviews across the India team
Partner with the US team on launches, growth experiments, and cross-timezone delivery
Dive deep into data — funnels, retention, GMV — and turn it into product decisions
Talk to hosts and guests directly; bring their voice into every roadmap call

What We're Looking For

Proven PM experience shipping consumer or marketplace products
Track record of leading cross-functional teams (eng + design + QA)
Strong product sense — you can spot the right bet and the wrong one fast
Comfortable with data — SQL, analytics dashboards, funnel analysis
Excellent written and spoken English; able to overlap with US Pacific hours when needed
Startup mindset — high ownership, bias to action, low tolerance for slowness
